There are no travel or call-out fees for anywhere in the hinterland we service.
Local knowledge
Nambour is one of the older towns on the coast. The railway reached it in 1891, the sugar mill tramway followed in 1897, and a stretch of the old track still runs along Mill, Currie and Howard Streets in the centre. The town sits at the foot of the Blackall Range, about 101 km north of Brisbane, and it is the administrative centre of the Sunshine Coast Region. The census counts 12,145 people in the locality, with a median age of 40 and 2.3 people per household.
Nambour has a higher share of renters than Maleny, Palmwoods or Beerwah: 38 per cent of homes are rented, and a third of all homes are townhouses or flats. That mix shows up in the work. An end-of-lease clear-out in a townhouse near Nambour Plaza or a flat off Currie Street is a moving-out load: a mattress and base, a couch, a fridge, the bags and boxes. The truck stops on the street or in a visitor bay and the crew carries from the door.
The other two thirds of Nambour homes are separate houses, more of them mortgaged than owned outright, spread from Burnside and Coes Creek on the south-west side to Parklands and Rosemount to the north and east. Those loads are garage and yard loads: a shed that has filled up, the old outdoor setting, trimmings from the block. Nambour-Bli Bli Road takes us east and Nambour-Mapleton Road west, and the price is the same either way. We charge by the load, carry included, with no travel fee.
Doing it yourself
The Nambour Landfill and Recovery Centre on Cooney Road is about 3 km from the centre of town, roughly 5 minutes, open 7am to 5pm every day except Christmas Day. For a boot load at $20 or a trailer at $56, the drive is short enough that doing it yourself is the cheaper option. Our $200 minimum pickup makes sense when there is no trailer, the load is upstairs, or it would take three trips.

Our prices are the same in Nambour as everywhere we work. A minimum pickup is $200, a quarter load of 2m3 or 250kg is $330, a half load is $600 and a full 8m3 load is $1,100, GST included. That covers a two-person crew, the carry from the house or townhouse to the truck, transport, tip fees within the allowance and a sweep. We charge no call-out or travel fee; the full table is on our pricing page.
Usually same-day or next-day on weekdays. Text photos of the load and the path to the truck to 0426 873 226 and we reply with a confirmed price and the first slot we have. If the keys go back on a set date, or the agent has booked the exit inspection, tell us and we work to that date.

Yes. Nearly four in ten Nambour homes are rented and a third are townhouses or flats, so the clear-out before the keys go back is a common Nambour job. We take the mattress ($30 each on top of the load), the fridge ($20 each), the furniture the next place does not need and the bags, then sweep the rooms. See end of lease rubbish removal.
Tyres and asbestos, which we never load. Paint, chemicals, fuel, oil and gas bottles need a mention when you enquire so the crew can plan for them; the Nambour tip takes household paint free if you would rather drop it yourself. Everything else from a house, unit, garage or yard is fine, whitegoods and green waste included.
